5.1 sound card in vista

I regret to inform you that you cannot directly connect the 5.1 surround sound System to the notebook. As the sound card in the notebook is supported only for 2 channel sound output, as this is the limitation of the notebooks. so even after selecting 5.1 surround sound in sound advanced properties, this may not give much effect.

However, to connect 5.1 surround sound System to the notebook, you need to purchase and install a external USB sound card.
